Anyway, I have been home from Wheaton for quite some time now and I can really say what a blessing it is to be at home! Sleeping in (most of the time), no classes to worry about, home-cooked meals, and most importantly - the company of my awesome family! I also have had a lot of time to reflect and listen to one of my favorite radio stations, KLove. When I am at school, I rarely find time to turn on my radio and listen to some music...in fact, the only time I turned on my radio was when I was packing to go home. Guess school is really keeping me busy...and I will get back to it in about 2 weeks...man, this summer is FLYING by so fast now!
But, as I listened to the radio the past 2-3 months, this song kept on playing over and over again. It is such a beautiful song and it has such depth to it! Here is the video and lyrics from YouTube...please enjoy and I hope you find yourself blessed by listening to it!
So, isn't this just a beautiful song? We often ask for God's blessings in our lives without even realizing the blessings He HAS, in fact, given us. Isn't it funny that we usually focus on our darkest times and think that Go is not with us? Does is really take those dark times and disappointments to realize that God is, in fact, with us? He has even promised us in His Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us. It's our complete lack of faith. He hears all that we ask of Him, and He loves us so much that He wouldn't give us lesser things.

I humbly admit the same. i have been lacking the faith that my Heavenly Father is longing for me to have. I often ask for things without even realizing the blessings that He HAS given me. I have been truly blessed the past 20+ years of my life. God is so faithful, but why can't I realize and recognize that He uses the littlest things to bless me. I'm guilty as charged. But, how about you? Are you thankful for even the littlest blessings you receive?
